It is known that the insurance sector is an integral and leading branch of the economy in the developed countries of the world. Insurance services serve as the main source of providing long-term investment funds to these industries while ensuring the stability of economic entities. At the same time, the state provides social protection of its citizens through insurance. The strengthening of the processes of globalization at the world level, the expansion of relations between countries in the trade-economic, tourism and other spheres further increase the need for insurance services. At the same time, Uzbekistan’s increasing involvement in global relations creates the need to develop the insurance sector in the country at the level of demand. But until now, there are enough problems related to the insurance sector in the country, which requires scientific study and research of this sector. The international scientific-practical conference organized by the Tashkent State University of Economics on November 16, 2023 will serve as an important tool in finding scientifically based solutions to the existing problems in the field of insurance.
